Hearing Loop

DTS is proud to provide Hearing Loop solutions for all of Texas. Hearing Loops are becoming an incredible method of serving the hard of hearing community by “broadcasting” audio directly to their hearing aids where loops are installed. Public spaces that require ADA compliance find this technology very useful and hard of hearing church attendees have been literally brought to tears because they were able to hear a sermon for the first time in many years. DTS has been designing and installing hearing loop systems for over 5 years. Churches, auditoriums, Council Chambers, Courts of Law….. Hearing Loops work, and they meet ADA compliance.

WHAT IS A HEARING LOOP?
More than 14-percent of all Americans ages 50+ wear hearing aids. Ask any person who wears hearing aids, even with the technological advances in hearing devices, the wearer still cannot hear clearly in churches, meetings or theaters. That’s because hearing aids amplify ALL sounds, not just the sound from a microphone or speaker. Now, imagine if by making ONE SMALL IMPROVEMENT in your sound system could change the way your customers hear you. What if that small improvement is an even smaller investment that has a big return on investment, bringing you MORE customers or congregants and greater participation because word of mouth in the hearing aid community is huge! It’s called a HEARING LOOP and DTS AV is Texas’ largest provider of Hearing Loop design and installation.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You continue to use the same microphone and sound system set up in your facility. DTS AV adds a special induction loop around your seating area and makes minor modifications to your existing amplification system. When your consumer enters the loop and pushes a button on their hearing aid or cochlear implant, it turns their hearing device into a personal sound system where they can hear everything played over the sound system clearly.
